"Rocketeer" Jacket - Indigo Canvas

Taking inspiration from early American Aeronautic Engineers and classic mechanic jackets, the Rocketeer is a simple work jacket that's just brimming with detail and personality. Back before the days of lab coats and computers, rocket science was a backyard art, and its practitioners had more in common with gas station attendants (at least sartorially) than academics in their ivory towers. Mister Freedom's Rocketeer Jacket has an easy silhouette, slightly cropped, with a relaxed and unlined body that you can just throw on without fuss. The front closes up with a simple brass zip, and features two roomy flap pockets for storage halfway up the chest - the fit through the waist and cuffs can also be modified with button and tab adjusters. It's made from a 100% cotton double indigo canvas that's completely unwashed and intended to shrink to tag size after the first rinse. Clocking in at a very comfortable 9oz, the indigo-saturated yarns promise to fade dramatically over time, especially in high stress areas (like the rounded elbow pads), developing a unique and handsome patina with wear.
