1st PAT-RN is the brainchild of designers Cristiano Berto and Silvia Piccin, established out of their combined experience in design and fashion consultation. Their garments are laser focused on wearability and optimized for daily life. Kind of a strange sentence, because what clothes aren't? But it starts to make a lot more sense once you've tried on some 1st PAT-RN. Everything, and we do mean everything, from the fabric composition, to the cut, to the placement of pockets, is done with the wearer in mind. The Camden Jacket is a fantastic daily-driver of a jacket, with a very casual and comfortable silhouette that features a roomy body and slightly cropped torso. The fit is adjustable, with cinches at the hips and buttons at the cuffs that allow you to exaggerate the shape by bringing it in at the edges, giving a more pronounced outline. It's packed with details, but many of them are covert and subtle — from the multiple pleats down the sleeves for shape and movement, to the covered placket and "hidden" hand pockets cut into the torso's side seams. It's made from a very technical ripstop fabric, woven with a blend of cotton and hemp, with a great crispy hand and breathable face. The fabric has been rinsed to finish it, giving the whole thing is nicely broken-in appearance and some very subtle weathering through the seams. Inside, the jacket is left unlined, a smart move for a spring/summer jacket that also makes layering easier when things do cool down. Fits true to size. Was
