Bruschetta Shoes are designed and produced by Brass Tokyo, the same workshop & artisans behind mainline Clinch Boots. As such, these sandals are manufactured using vintage and antique bootmaking machines, employing old world production techniques to develop a modern shoe with the personality and durability of a bespoke vintage sandal. Releases are highly limited, with only a handful of pairs produced each year. The finished products are outstandingly elevated, constructed using 360 degree goodyear welts, premium hardware, and buttery-soft leathers. The patterns are handsomely unisex, pairing low profile silhouettes and crepe outsoles that wear extremely comfortably — allowing you to style them with both formal and casual summer pieces, depending on the need and occasion. The Malheur Sandal is second style in the Bruschetta Lineup, offering tasteful foot coverage and full ventilation throughout. The uppers are made from a series of interwoven leather strips, and fit can be adjusted with a buckle at the outer ankle. They stand on a sleek crepe sole with a very subtle low heel — soft and exceptionally comfortable, it's ideal for strolling around in on a hot day (but not recommended for wet or inclement weather, as these are sandals). The midsole and "insole" are both a full grain vegetable tanned leather, with an addition vachetta pad under the heel for comfort. Vachetta cowhide is a vegetable-tanned leather most commonly used on designer and luxury bags. Its soft, plush, and re
