Vague Watch Co. is a sub-label of the Yoshida Trade Company, Vague Watch Co. began as a vintage dealer, with over 30 years of experience sourcing and reselling some of the most famous and iconic watches ever made. That experience lead to their own production, seeking out the best craftsmen in Japan (and overseas when necessary) in order to create their own collection of new watches that would satisfy their vintage sensibilities. Currently, Vague offer some of the most handsome and well-made time pieces we've encountered, without the astronomical markup. The Vabble Watch is based on the design of the world's first ever self-winding, water-resistant watch, which was introduced in the 1930s. To account for both these features, the original watches featured a much thicker inside face, colloquially known as a "bubble back" these days. Vague's interpretation also features the bubble back, and is self-winding & water resistant up to (or down, technically) 50m. It features a smooth dome-shaped crystal face, and stays on with a stainless strap that matches the body of the watch. Self-winding after you set it. One size. Strap is adjustable, includes additional links that can be added to expand fit.
