The CC-1 is part of Freenote's rapidly expanding selection of outwear, and like the rest of their lineup, looks great from day one but ages into something truly special. The pitch is an updated chore coat, so, imagine everything you like about a chore coat, and update it. What that amounts to is a slightly boxier fit, two internal pockets (on top of the 3 external pockets), a hidden placket, and minimal paneling. Superbly easy to style, and perfect for working in, especially with the reinforced external pockets for storing things in. The fabric is a heavy moleskin, sourced from Japan, which will break in over time and take the shape of your body. Like any good moleskin jacket, it's soft to the touch, wind-resistant, and shrugs off abuse. Runs slightly large - you may want to size down if you're in between sizes.
