Ortega Pant - Hickory Stripe

Freenote's Ortega Pant is their take on the classic carpenter's pant, cut with a comfortable high rise and a relaxed straight leg. Not too wide, they're a perfect medium that looks good with boots or sneakers, and feature comfortably roomy thighs and a relaxed top block that fits just about everyone. They're made from a yarn-dyed Japanese hickory stripe fabric, finished with what Freenote refer to as a "light stonewash" to help soften and shrink the fabric as much as possible. This thankfully removes the break-in period without really visibly aging the fabric, making these perfectly comfortable right off the rack. As with any good indigo fabric, these will fade over time, developing a unique patina in accordance with how they are worn and how often they're washed. They're packed with all the usual Freenote fare (flat-felled legs, Japanese fabric pocket bags, custom metal hardware, and 1/8" double-needle sewing details), but also feature a more stripped down and minimalist take on Freenote's other Ortega pants, lacking the tool loops and opting for just one additional pocket on the righthand-thigh. Fits slightly large.
