Meeks Jacket - Terracotta Corduroy

From Standard & Strange

Agent-ready

The Meeks Jacket is Freenote's take on a utilitarian, vintage-style "club jacket." It's super easy to wear, with a fantastic silhouette that's just the right amount of cropped, and two expansive bucket pockets for your hands, as well as a classic collar and an easy zip placket. Inside, it's unlined, allowing this to stay with you during the warmer seasons as a jacket before transitioning to a mid-layer during the winter months. They're made from a Japanese 9-wale corduroy, with a comfortable medium weight and a texture that is more soft than dry. Though the fabric is unwashed, it's still immediately pretty comfortable, requiring very little time or wear to fully break-in. Over time, it'll form a uniquely high-contrast patina, as the earthy orange wales of the corduroy wear down to reveal the lighter interior. It's finished with all the details we've come to expect from Freenote: 1/8" double-needle stitch details, custom YKK metal hardware, a repro vintage Universal brass zipper from Japan, and custom woven labels inside. Also the sleeve cuffs can be adjusted with snaps, which we almost forgot to also mention. Fits true to size. Wash cold and hang dry. 100% cotton 9-wale yarn-dyed corduroy from Japan Reproduction vintage Universal zipper from Japan Custom YKK hardware Cropped length Pleated back Snap cuffs Two large hand pockets Classic collar Custom woven labels True to size Wash cold and hang dry Designed and produced in Southern California, USA
