Déborah Sitbon Neuberg founded De Bonne Facture to create purposeful clothing made with transparency and sustainability in mind. The line showcases small ateliers, primarily throughout France, but additionally around a few other parts of Europe — each one specializing in the product they craft. The line is nostalgic, reverential towards well made and well-worn menswear classics, and leaning into a more casual aesthetic for their beautifully-tailored designs. De Bonne Facture take sustainability extremely seriously, with a design philosophy that relies on five pillars — "garment durability, atelier traceability, fabric provenance, the ecological impact of our supply chain, and the preservation of industrial know-hows". Their garments are built to last, using high end materials that will improve with time as they wear in, developing unique character with time. Inspired by an open-knit shirt from the 1970s that De Bonne Facture found at the Saint-Ouen flea market, the Honeycomb Knitted Polo is a breezy and slouchy piece of knitwear that's perfect for the summer. With a body that's entirely honeycomb-knit, this polo shirt features ample airflow and a bouncy-springy drape. It's got a rib knit at the hem and cuffs, allowing for a more classic silhouette where the body and sleeves fold over on themselves slightly. It's made from 100% organic Turkish cotton with a GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, with the yarns being spun in Turkey as well. It's immediately soft
