All components are sourced in the EU and the lamps are handmade in north London Please note that all TLC lamps have UK bulb holders and plugs, we can provide wiring for other markets on request. We advise the use of bulbs with a wattage no higher than 40W
Delft and Bamboo Table Lamp from The Light Clinic. A handmade Isamu Noguchi-feel table lamp built around a slender natural bamboo stem with visible knuckle joints, set on a square antique Dutch Delft tile in cobalt blue and white. The tile carries a four-corner foliate motif around a central blue cartouche, the original tin-glaze and edge wear preserved. The tile rests on a thinner terracotta sub-base, giving a stepped two-tier silhouette. Crowned with a large white washi paper Akari-style globe shade, banded in irregular criss-cross bamboo ribbing that breaks the sphere into uneven facets. Pecan-coloured braided fabric cable. Height to top of shade 68 cm, base 15 sqcm, shade 30 cm diameter. Wired with UK bulb holders and plugs, use bulbs up to 40 W. Components sourced in the EU, finished by hand in north London. Lead time 2 weeks.
