Shuttle T-Shirt - Ivory Cotton Silk Jersey

MotivMFG's Spring/Summer 2026 collection is titled "A.C.G.T." — referencing the four bases that make up a strand of DNA: Adenine, Cytosine, Guanine, & Thymine. The very conceptual title ties into the scientific inspiration behind the collection, which combines a set of unique and highly-technical fabrics with Motiv's usual stellar tailoring and design. The garments are somehow both old-world and futuristic, with riffs on familiar silhouettes and contemporary updates to classic styles that seem like they would feel equally appropriate in the Atomic Era of the late 40s as well as the distant 2100s. The Shuttle T-Shirt is a new style introduced this season, the latest in Motiv's lineup of knitwear, with an interesting cut and a very elegant silhouette. It features a "shuttle-shaped" neckhole and a ribbed collar that highlight the wearer's trapezius muscles (aka the "traps"), and a reverse gusset beneath the sleeves for a more full range of motion. The hem is split, with an elongated tail and gaps at the side seams for a more natural drape through the body. It's got a comfortable fit that is neither loose nor snug, wearing well when taken true-to-size. The fabric is equally special, being made from a blend of 90% supima cotton and 10% silk, selected for extra-long staple length in the yarns for additional durability and softness.
