A graphic tee built to feel collected, repaired, and worn through years of use. The National Knit is cut from 210 GSM cotton jersey in a relaxed drop-shoulder silhouette and finished with an enzyme stone wash that softens the fabric while creating a naturally aged appearance. The front combines layered photography, typography, handwritten elements, and washed graphics arranged in a collage-like composition that feels sourced from flyers, posters, and memorabilia gathered over time. The back continues the story with an oversized graphic composition centered around a barbed-wire peace symbol, surrounded by scattered notes, illustrations, and BLDG4 artwork. Rather than relying on a single graphic, the piece is covered in layered details. Reverse seam construction exposes stitching throughout the garment, reinforcing the reconstructed character of the tee. Repair stitching is applied at the collar and sleeve openings using contrast Mars Red and Medium Green thread, creating the appearance of visible repairs made over years of wear. Additional holes, breaking, abrasions, and distressing are placed around the collar, sleeves, and hem, while subtle paint effects are scattered throughout the garment to further enhance the lived-in feel. Built around imperfection and history, the National Knit blends archival graphics with BLDG4's signature approach to reconstruction and wear.
