Beautifully handcrafted, each piece is made using a Raku technique which uses hair in the burning process and which results in this stunning unique and un-calculated root-like texture.
A straight-sided ceramic mug in a pale eggshell body, finished with a raku-style horsehair effect: fine dark carbon lines crackle and branch across the surface like lightning or veining. The decoration is random and one-off, so the soft cream ground reads differently on every piece. The form is a simple upright cylinder with a clean rim.
