Alden has been producing Made in USA footwear for well over a century now. An icon of American footwear, Alden was founded in 1884 by Charles H Alden in Massachusetts and remains there to this day. The Alden V-Tip Blucher, or Algonquin blucher is a versatile split-toe blucher, made exclusively for us here at Clutch. They feature a classic split-toe design, and feature a full leather lining as well as some intricate stitching on the upper toe. The A0606 has a single oak leather sole. Built on Alden's Barrie Last, with a D width fitting, the A0606 also features 'invisible' eyelets and is dual branded on the insole. Alden has been producing Made in USA footwear since 1884 in Brockton, Massachusetts, and this V-Tip Blucher is an exclusive commission for Clutch Cafe. Built on the Barrie last in a D width, the shoe features shell cordovan leather from horsebutt, giving the upper its characteristic high gloss and firm hand. The split-toe V-tip stitching is precise and tight, the eyelets are set flush for a clean look, and the single oak leather sole is attached by a Goodyear welt. Inside, a full leather lining and dual Alden x Clutch Cafe branded insole finish the construction.
