The body is cut from 12oz herringbone twill cotton sourced from Halley Stevensons in Scotland, then dry-waxed for weather resistance, producing a fabric that repels light rain and wind without any chemical coating stiffness. The colour is a pale sage green on the body, contrasting with the distinctly darker olive-green 2x2 worsted wool ribbing at the stand collar, cuffs, and hem.
