This will be our 4th & final restock of this first ever collab' short cuffed classic glove. They're our take on the classic, full finger ride/drive gloves of old. Handmade in California in numbered batches, they’re elegantly detailed, comfortable and suitable for cycling, driving, and use anywhere in the city. They're made from Kero Leather, one of the most special leathers in the world. It's made from reindeer that roam free for most of their lives and are harvested in their native habitat by the Sami people of Northern Sweden. The skins are then vegetable-tanned in small batches 80 km north of the Arctic Circle by third-generation master craftsmen at the Kero Leather Tannery. The result is a leather that's initially quite compact but becomes as soft and flexible as the finest Italian lamb skin, but also highly durable. And we have the pictures to prove it. Our Varis gloves are made in collaboration with our good friends at Mission Workshop – San Francisco’s premier purveyor of weatherproof bags & technical apparel and were initially a part of their Friija collection. As with all Philleywood gloves, we make with meticulous attention to detail & personally inspect each pair before numbering and adding to the batch.
