The Insect Shield Mesh Jacket features durable Insect Shield treatment that helps repel insects and prevent them from entering the garment. Originally adopted by the U.S. Army, this treatment maintains its effectiveness even after repeated washing. The jacket uses a hybrid construction that combines breathable punched mesh with distinctive Taslan ripstop fabric, creating a lightweight material suited for use across multiple seasons. Inspired by Royal Navy combat gear and adapted for outdoor wear, the design reinforces high-friction areas with strong ripstop fabric placed on the front and back upper sections, as well as the pockets. The jacket includes multiple functional pockets for convenient storage, while the hem is adjustable with an elastic spindle for a customizable fit. We recommend taking your normal size for a standard fit.
