Premium high-capacity field backpack w ith a tonal DPM: Bonsai Forest print, featuring three external 3 dimensional pouch pockets, hidden slip side pockets and webbing straps on the underside that can harness a yoga mat. The adjustable brain and double cinched lip allow approx +50% height extension allowing use as a day pack or weekend pack. The backpack has a substantial quilted lining throughout and features a well padded and suspended laptop pocket. Quick release buckles allow the bag to be removed M.A.L.I.C.E. draws inspiration from the A.L.I.C.E. system — All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment — first developed by the U.S. Army and issued from 1973 onwards. Originally designed to reduce a soldier’s overall load, A.L.I.C.E. marked a pivotal shift in military gear, replacing traditional canvas with full nylon for durability and lightweight performance. Developed by Natick Labs, the system included modular backpacks, vests, and belts with webbing, allowing pouches and compartments to be added, removed, or repositioned with ease.
