Quaker Marine Supply Herringbone French Workman Jacket Navy
From 2nd Academic Store
An update of Quaker Marine's renowned French Workman's Jacket made from herringbone twill. This traditional workman’s jacket was created in the late 1800s to provide a practical and protective layer for the French working class, designed to be worn over their clothing and featuring multiple patch pockets for tools and spare parts. Quaker Marine has crafted this workman’s jacket to function as both outerwear and a substitute for a sports jacket. This piece includes three exterior patch pockets and one concealed interior pocket, along with a herringbone-taped front placket adorned with anchor-engraved buttons. The cuffs are equipped with buttons, allowing them to be rolled up for a day of work or adjusted according to the temperature. Classic and adaptable, it can be worn to shield against a brisk sea breeze or layered over a button-down shirt as a casual alternative to a sports jacket
