Mei Lin Ong started Tanjong Supply Co. in a Tiong Bahru walk-up in 2021 after she could not find an overshirt that survived a Singapore monsoon and still looked right at dinner. The label makes three pieces a season in a family-run factory in Guimaraes, Portugal. Everything is cut heavier than the climate suggests, because the air conditioning always wins.
